This notice covers Stuart Corlett’s author newsletter.
What you choose to share
We collect your email address, your first name if you provide it, and a record of your consent and email confirmation. You join the mailing list only when you confirm your email address.
How it is used
Your details are used to send occasional emails about Stuart’s books, new releases and author news. The author newsletter is separate from Circuit’s contact lists. Buying a book does not automatically subscribe you.
Signup details are stored securely with the website’s hosting provider. Resend delivers confirmation emails. Confirmed contacts may be transferred to an email service such as Mailchimp or Resend to send the author newsletter. Only the website owner can download the list. Your information is not sold.
Your choice
You can cancel your request using the link in your confirmation email. Every newsletter must include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribed addresses are excluded from the active mailing list; an opt-out record is kept to help prevent accidental resubscription. You can join again by completing a new signup and confirmation.
How long details are kept
Confirmation links expire after 48 hours. Pending signup details older than 30 days are deleted when the next signup is processed. Confirmed details are kept while you remain subscribed. Short-lived, hashed request identifiers help limit automated abuse; these are cleared after their rate-limit window when the next signup is processed.
